Some relics in Astra Malorum are just cosmetics. The Golden Spork isn’t one of them. The moment you equip it, every zombie hit stings twice as hard, so you’re basically volunteering for pain just to earn the badge. Get your kit sorted first

If you did it clean, you’ll get kicked back out onto the main map. The second you regain control, sprint to the red ritual circle near the Quick-Revive bench, because you’re racing your own projectile.
Opening the golden trial and surviving hip-fire only
Once you’re at the ritual circle, throw a decoy into the center to pull the swarm tight. If your timing was right, that earlier Mangler shot returns and wipes the crowd, and you’ll see a new golden trial portal appear. Step through and you’re locked into a six-wave challenge where aiming down sights is forbidden. Tap ADS even once and it’s basically over. Bring something you can hip-fire without thinking—an SMG with a fat mag, or a shotgun built for spread—and walk in with plenty of ammo since there are no refills inside. Expect Mutated HVTs to show up and chew time; keep moving, keep your crosshair at chest height, and let hip-fire do the work.
Equipping the Spork and what to do next
Beat the last wave and you’ll see the Golden Spork icon flash, then it’ll be available to equip in your Relics tab—along with that nasty “double damage taken” downside you can’t talk your way out of. It’s a cool flex, sure, but it also changes how you play every room, every corner, every panic dodge.
