Coolant disappearing on my Cooper S, no visible leak anywhere
Noticed my coolant reservoir keeps dropping below the minimum line every couple of weeks. I top it up, it holds for a while, then it drops again. No puddles under the car, no obvious drips, and the temperature gauge stays normal. I had the system pressure tested at a random garage and they said it held pressure fine, which contradicts what I’m seeing. I’m now suspecting it could be the water pump or a head gasket issue, and that’s a scary thought. I’ve been searching for a Top MINI Cooper specialist near Musaffah Industrial Area because I want someone who knows where these cars typically leak from rather than starting from scratch. Has anyone dealt with disappearing coolant on an N18 or similar engine? What did it turn out to be in the end?
