  • Our loader keeps overinflating bags, is the dunnage bag inflator the problem?

We have been having a weird issue at our Ajman facility and I cannot figure out who is at fault. Twice in the last month a bag has burst during stuffing, and both times it was the same guy operating the dunnage bag inflator so I am starting to suspect either the tool is pushing too much pressure or he is just not stopping when he should. The bags are supposed to handle a certain pressure but there is no gauge on our unit and no markings on the bags either which feels like a design flaw honestly. I have told him to stop earlier but he says it feels firm and then suddenly it pops. Now I am wondering if the inflator itself is faulty and delivering inconsistent pressure, or if this is just operator error and I need to train people better. Has anyone else dealt with bags bursting and what turned out to be the cause? Also do some inflators have a built in regulator or cut off because ours definitely does not and I am thinking maybe that is what I should have bought in the first place.
