Simple things like eating meals together can create space for more meaningful conversations. Be these conversations should be open and nonjudgemental.

“How are you?” “How was your day?” “Do you need anything?”
Simple questions that can go such a long way!

I agree. Its important with teens to not pry and give them the space they need, but also letting them know you are here for them. those simply reminders go a long way and help people feel cared for and important.
