Regret not doing this sooner, my ceramic coating experience after 8 months
Quick background, I bought a white Prado last year and within a few months the paint already looked dull and every wash left fine scratches I couldn’t unsee. I was skeptical about ceramic coating because I’d heard mixed things, some people say it’s a waste of money and others act like it changed their life. Eight months in and I have to say the difference is real, water beads off, dust doesn’t stick the same way, and washing takes me half the time it used to. The swirl marks haven’t come back either, which was my main reason for doing it. One thing I’d tell anyone considering it, get the paint correction done first because if you coat over imperfections you’re just locking them in. Also don’t expect it to be scratch proof, it’s not, but it’s way more forgiving than bare paint.
