Where do you take your Audi for detailing without getting ripped off?
My A5 is overdue for proper attention. It’s not dirty exactly, but the paint has lost that gloss it had when I bought it and the interior has that faint smell from months of school runs and coffee spills. I’ve tried a couple of the mobile wash guys and honestly they just made it worse with cheap products and dirty cloths. I’m not looking for a full paint correction at this point, more like a deep clean inside and out plus a polish to bring the shine back. A mate mentioned he’d used a Genuine Audi car care and polishing service in MBZ City and was happy with the finish, said they actually know how to treat the soft Audi clear coat instead of burning through it. That last part matters to me because I’ve seen horror stories of polishers leaving holograms everywhere. Has anyone here used a specialist for their Audi detailing and how did it hold up after a few months? Also wondering whether it’s worth doing a light polish or if I should just save up for full correction later.
